South Island Agricultural Field Days- KIRWEE
The South Island Agricultural Field Days (SIAFD) are pleased to announce that the 2015 Field Days will be held in Kirwee, just over 20 minutes’ drive from Christchurch City, on Courtenay Rd (between West Coast Road and Miles Road).

After taking a giant leap forward and moving our biannual event to Kirwee where the SIAFD has purchased 40 hectares of bare land we are excited to take advantage of our new opportunities.  The 2015 SIAFD will continue to feature new machinery demonstrations and continues to support the relationships between farmers, service providers, scientists and technical experts.

While the previous site has served the SIAFD well for over thirty successful years, the site had grown to capacity and the search began for a new site.  The new site, a large rectangle, will allow for a large demonstration area next to exhibitor sites, with multiple access gates for ease of access while still being handy to Christchurch City.

With the new SIAFD site we hope we can make the Field Days even better and more user friendly for everyone involved.  We look forward to continuing our great relationships with exhibitors, local contractors, press, and all of our attendees—and with under a year until show time, the committee has kicked into full gear.  Chairman Alastair Robinson and committee states ‘The committee are dedicated to making the 2015 South Island Field Days event one that goes down in history!’
